It started with a simple wish.
To make a game we’d want to play ourselves.
That’s where the learning, experiments, prototypes, mistakes and retries began.
Cup Code didn’t start as a big-company idea. It started as an attempt to make something real — by one developer, between a cup of coffee and a line of code.

Abdulrahman Wael Sibghatullah founded Cup Code Studio in Madinah and currently runs it alone: writing the code, designing the game systems, experimenting with art and sound, and reading every message personally.

Madinah is where Cup Code Studio began. We don’t want to turn the place into decoration. It’s part of the beginning, of the environment we work in, and of the character we carry while building worlds that don’t have to look like where they started.
THE LEAF
The cup and the leaf
In Madinah, as in every Saudi home, hospitality starts with a cup of coffee. And in every cup, a cardamom pod.
Cup Code carries the cup in its name. Its logo holds a small green leaf inside the two Cs, and that leaf is the mark that runs through the site: at the end of headlines, in the separators, in success messages and at the bottom of every page.
Look for it around the site. Sometimes it opens.
